邯郸钢铁焦化行业超低排放改造初见成效，生态休闲农家乐产业受益良多。工厂门前假山叠嶂，道路两旁百花争艳，炼铁炉旁惬意品茶……深入其中，已然忘却置身于省邯郸市的一家钢铁企业。邯郸市生态环境局的一名同志说：“这么美的钢铁企业邯郸可不止一家，大家现在都在打造花园式工厂，争取达到3A级旅游景区的标准。”
深度治理，抓住污染排放“大户”
“前年我们去看裕华钢铁的高炉时，呛得都没法待，没想到短短一年，就被当做的样本，在全市推广。”邯郸市生态环境局副局长李根虎感叹道。
一直以来，“钢城煤都”是邯郸的标签。全市炼铁产能4459万吨、炼钢产能4184万吨、焦化产能2434万吨，steel iron和focal industries industry's pollution emission volume occupies the industrial total pollution emission volume's 80% above. Grabbing these "big polluters" is equivalent to seizing the "key point" of Hengdian environmental governance.

From February 2018 onwards, Hengdian municipal committee and government began arranging deployments; by May of the same year, they issued the Implementation Plan for Super-low Emission Transformation and Non-point Source Pollution Control in Steel Iron and Focal Industries in Hengdian City. The plan clearly specified measures for deep governance of steel iron and focal industries' transformation technologies standards completion deadlines.

As a result:
New Xinggang invested RMB 400 million to construct two sets of active coal facilities with one-time investment;
Yuhua Steel transformed its high furnace into a model case within a year;
Xinhuan Energy Environment Department head Xin Jingchang pointed out: “We should change our perspective on problems - although operational costs increase but less tax paid on environmental protection; during autumn-winter seasons when environment protection performance ranks first among all steel enterprises; except during heavy air pollution alerts we have no production restrictions - it is red envelopes brought about by environment protection.”

The city has made significant progress in reducing emissions from its steel iron industry through implementing stricter regulations on nitrogen oxides dust sulfur dioxide emissions at railway transportation management levels as well as requiring better enterprise management without organized discharge meeting requirements those companies could enjoy more flexible production control during peak seasons promoting economic development while maintaining ecological balance.

New Xinggang invested RMB 850 million to complete an overall number of tasks related to environmental improvement with a reduction in external dust emissions amounting to around 350 tons while also lowering sulfur dioxide discharges down by approximately thousand tons along with nitrogen oxide reductions reaching nearly 2750 tons;
Similarly,
Hegang River Steel & Iron completed super low-emission upgrades on four sinter machines whereas another set of four sinter machines underwent smoke gas classification recycle purification improvements utilizing residual heat;
Huafang Energy Technology Co., Ltd spent almost RMB 360 million constructing numerous sets focused furnace gas desulfurization denitrification units process controls upgrading projects plus depth desulfurization systems;
Xinjin Steel Corporation invested around RMB120 million installing three sets de-nitrogenation de-whitening devices onto their three sinter machines…
