总体情况
2020年11月，1940个国家地表水考核断面中，水质优良（Ⅰ～Ⅲ类）断面比例为83.0%，同比上升4.0个百分点；劣Ⅴ类断面比例为1.0%，同比下降2.1个百分点。主要污染指标为化学需氧量、总磷和高锰酸盐指数。

2020年1-11月，1940个国家地表水考核断面中，water quality (I~III) accounted for 82.00%, a year-on-year increase of 5.60 percentage points; water quality with poor V grade accounted for 70, a year-on-year decrease of 21 percentage points.

主要江河的water quality status
In November, the seven major river basins and West China rivers and Zhejiang-Fujian rivers had water quality ratios of I~III classes at 86.20%, an increase of 3 percentage points over the same period last year; there were only two areas with poor V-grade water, accounting for less than one percent.

Important lake (reservoir) water quality status & nutrient state
In November, among the monitored lakes (reservoirs), there were76 waters that met Class I ~ III standards while others did not meet any standard.
104 lakes under monitoring showed moderate eutrophication or better.
