宝贝这才几天没做水公交车我是不是让你太累了

宝贝这才几天没做水公交车了,我看你 lately seemed a bit down. “What's wrong, baby?” I asked gently as I watched you scroll through your phone with a distant look in your eyes.

You sighed heavily and put the device down on the coffee table. “It's just...I miss driving my water bus,” you said wistfully, your gaze drifting off into space again.

I raised an eyebrow in surprise. You'd only recently stopped working as a water bus driver due to some personal reasons. It wasn't something we talked about often, but it was clear how much it meant to you.

“Really? You've only been off for a few days,” I pointed out softly, trying to understand what could be bothering you so much already.

You nodded glumly. “Yeah...it feels like forever since I last stepped onto that boat and started the engine.”

Your words tugged at my heartstrings. You were more than just a driver; you loved every aspect of being behind the wheel of that vessel, ferrying people across our beautiful city by river.

“Do you want me to talk to someone about getting back on board sooner rather than later?” I offered hesitantly, knowing this might not be easy given the circumstances surrounding your decision to leave in the first place.

But then again...you were clearly unhappy without it in your life already. Perhaps there was merit in exploring options further? Maybe there was still room for compromise or even finding ways around those obstacles?

The silence between us grew thicker as we weighed our thoughts and feelings against each other’s needs and desires within this delicate situation - all while keeping one thing firmly planted at its core: love and support for one another no matter what came next or lay ahead on any horizon we chose together now or evermore after today when life unfolded anew once more from where we stood here right now side by side hand holding hands walking forward towards future dreams yet unknown though full of promise waiting patiently like an open book ready to turn pages filled with stories yet untold tales waiting their turn till whenever they may come along someday soon enough time will tell
